Measuring Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Point Sources with Mobile Systems

چکیده

The traditional least squares method for the retrieval of CO2 emissions from emission sources is affected by nonlinear characteristics Gaussian plume model, which leads to optimal estimation easily falling into local minima. In this study, ACA–IPFM (ant colony algorithm and interior point penalty function) proposed remedy shortcomings method, makes full use global search property ant exact capability function make closer optimum. We evaluate errors several parameters that are most likely affect accuracy analyze these jointly. These include wind speed measurement error, direction concentration number measurements. When error less than 20%, inverse 1% uncertainty 3%, when 55 degrees, 10%, 3.3%, quantity higher 60, 3%. addition, we simulate observations on different paths under same conditions, invert based simulated values. Through results, caused measurements, have demonstrated resulting in inversion accuracies conditions end, can provide some reference actual route planning mobile system. Combined with agility system, extend monitoring a wider area.

Greenhouse gas emissions from rice

Rice provides the staple food for over 60% of the world’s population. Globally 80% of rice is grown by small farmers in low income and developing nations, and in India rice farming is a key source of employment for the 60% of Indian workers still dependent on agriculture for work. Yet rice production is also an important source of greenhouse gas emissions, for example responsible for between 3 ...

Greenhouse gas emissions in livestock production systems

Agriculture is responsible for a significant proportion of total anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions (perhaps 18% globally), and therefore has the potential to contribute to efforts to reduce emissions as a means of minimising the risk of dangerous climate change. The largest contributions to emissions are attributed to ruminant methane production and nitrous oxide from animal waste and fert...
